Philosophy:
I’ve practiced law for over thirty years and if I had to select one word to define me it would be integrity. My approach to law, and to life is holistic.

I’m deeply committed to empowering others. I’m dedicated to creating a new model for collaborative law in the office and in the world. It’s through our unique contributions and our compassion that we can make a difference.

Background/Education:
My original career was in Social Work (B.A. from Kent State University), which has always enhanced my sensitivity to my clients’ needs and to their situations. I became a lawyer because I felt I could make a bigger impact in people’s lives.

I was an Adjunct Professor at Cleveland Marshall College of Law, but am no longer. I do lecture and do public speaking before lawyer groups and professional associations.

Since 1998, I have been actively and enthusiastically involved with Landmark Education Corporation which is a global educational enterprise committed to the fundamental principle that people have the possibility of success, fulfillment, and greatness. I have completed the curriculum for living and the courses in the Wisdom division, including Wisdom, Partnership and more recently, Power and Contribution.

Cited as one of the top 500 influential women in Northeast Ohio in Northern Ohio Live magazine.
Legal Aid Society Trustee Award for ongoing contributions and pro bono work.
Awarded for outstanding and dedicated service to Women Together, Inc., a battered Women’s shelter. Also        Board Chair.
